2020 Grand Imaging AwardGeneral Portrait Category - 3rd place
Portrait Artist Udi Edni of 48FineArt in Needham, wins at the 2020 Grand Imaging Awards from Professional Photographers of America (PPA). The Grand Imaging Award finalists were selected from 5,245 entries judged by a panel of 36 jurors. The event was held Monday, January 20, 2020 at PPA’s annual convention, Imaging USA, in Nashville, Tennessee. ​Edni’s portrait of Mr. Maurice ‘Moe’ Handel, Vice Chair of Needham Select Board, was accepted into the prestigue PPA Loan Collection of the International Photographic Competition, and earned the 3rd place in General Portrait category at the 2020 Grand Imaging Awards.
Udi Edni is an award winning Master Portrait Artist, who continues the grand-style tradition of the Boston School of Artists.
Udi creates life size, museum quality portraits for clients in Boston and around the US. Udi’s portraits evoke the elegant portraits which were commissioned by Boston's prominent families at the turn of the 20th century. He is one of the first US artists to earn the title of Master in Portraits from the Master Photographers International and has also received his Master of Photography from the Professional Photographers of America.
